A First for High School Propulsion

Hyperion is a regeneratively cooled 3.75 kN LOX/Ethanol engine, printed from AlSi10Mg. It's one of the first-ever high school regen-cooled engines in the world, and the first high school regen engine that also uses LOX as an oxidizer.

The injector is an extremely simple machined pintle injector, a deliberate choice to keep the first engine buildable and testable without unnecessary complexity.
